Blue & Gray Invitational Relic Hunt, Va. Gold Coin Found.

I was able to be invited to hunt last weekend in Virginia with 124 other people. It rained all weekend and was cold, but the relics and coins were everywhere. I found a 1862 Princess Head $1 Gold coin and a 1876-CC Seated LibertyQuarter with a hole in it. I found a lot of relic's as well, but the coins caught the attention of the people. I was able to meet up with old friends and make new ones. It was a great time

WOW im Impressed, what were you thinking from the time the gold rang up and to the time of discovery, give us a play by play man!

Not to down play the CC as I know you were smiling the second you heard the silver.

That's a awesome find.

I hope to be lucky enough one day with all the time and hrs spent to hit a gold coin. That is a rare one to find.

Congrats on the great finds! Don't see many of the one dollar gold found - must be because of the small size. Lucky they missed the mintmark and date when they holed that silver.
