MANILA, Philippines (AP) — A Chinese vessel that ran into a protected coral reef in the southwestern Philippines held evidence of even more environmental destruction inside: more than 10,000 kilograms (22,000 pounds) of meat from an endangered species, the pangolin or scaly anteater.

Dollars to donuts that pangolins taste just like chicken :tongue3:

are the uncles next????

I've found that pangolin anteater tastes a lot like bald eagle. ;)

Just remember what a wise old sage once said; There is a place for all of Gods creatures, and that's next to the potatoes and gravey!

I have a glaring question, How is America involved in wipeout of the anteater. Were we contributing to it's demise by using aerosol deodorants? (The article said they were endangered, we must have caused it).

And now all of a sudden it turns out the Chinese have a penchant for anteater BBQ? Bad timing for them, HUH? They should have started before the Polar bears started eating them with a coke and a smile!

That is alot of ant eater! It seems to be that south east Asia is a major cause of species loss in our world. They have uses for anything from any animal whether it is for healing stuff or making men hard or just tasty. They seem to not care that they are going to whip species off the planet. Don't get me wrong we have killed off a few species here in the US but it wasn't in my generation and they happened before the endangered species act.

there is a real cure for endangered species.

Let farmers breed them for food.

You don't see cows or pigs on the endangered list,

That reef is now called Sharks Reef, what a swarm. Frank...111-2 700.webp
