Bombs?

While my son and I were out working one of the city's parks, we were finding the usual clad and can slaw, when a woman approached my son and asked him if he was finding any bombs? It turns out, that she is from the Sudan, and advised that when they saw people doing what we were doing, they were looking for land mines. He quickly assured her that we were not looking for mines. Thank god.

Tonight, in that same park, in between the rain that we finally got, went out and found a bunch of clad, and a couple pieces of military stuff. The first item, I believe to be a button of some type. The side where you would attach it to the clothing is gone, but the front looks like the butt end of a shotgun shell. Embossed on it is Militaires Equipments. Anyone ever seen one of these before? The other item is a large rifle slug.

Didn't find any good coins, but did find a nice silver charm. I think that it is supposed to represent the magician "Merlin".

Nice finds, sorry I can't help you out on that one. Its so nice to be living in the Land Of The Free and The Home Of The Brave! Where our kids can go out and play in the parks and we don't have to worry about Bombs!!!!!! HH all

the button is french, i'm not sure what war though. the bullet looks like a .50 cal bullet from a machine gun
