Bone Tool?

[Greeneman215]

I recently purchased an item labeled bone tool from an antique store.
Anyone have any idea what it was for or seen anything like it?
A handle for a tool?
It has a smooth edge that fits the hand. Thanks guys

A better picture of the bit, (the end in your hand) would help. It looks like it could be a bone de-fleshing tool judging from the bevel I see on one edge of the bit..
