Been there done that 6 times, now live on Norco (vicotin) and Neurontin for the nerve pain. it is always better to get it worked on rather than waiting. I had to deal with work comp on all of mine so sometimes I had to wait for the right diagnosis so I have alot of neuropathy and residual pain. I had the neck fused also. Do not worry you will get back out there. If someone with a back like a trainwreck (actual doctor quote) can hunt like I do I am sure you will be back out there soon. Good luck on your recovery. KEEP MOVING (very important) i truely believe this hobby is the only reason I am walking today. The pain sucks but the meds help alot and keep other pains from bothering me too.

I had my neck fused 10 years ago,and have had chronic back pain for 22 years. Thank God for the VA ,they have payed for all my surgery's.
