Bought 100 quarters for $26.00...

My local store stopped their auctions and now just places the good stuff in a showcase with a higher than usual price. They had 5 of these Statehood Quarter folders in the case and after discount, they were about $26.00 each. I only flipped through them to see if they were full. I then bought two. Then I walked around the store and decided to buy two more. Then yesterday I went back and the other one was still there...so I bought it too. I discovered that the DANSCO holder itself costs $25.00 empty. I even asked a fellow picker/reseller why she wasn't buying them and she said "I already have a collection of those quarters.". I think I will give my kids an album each and sell the rest.

The $26.00 was after taxes. And it was a Goodwill. The sets in this particular album sell for $50 and up.
