An acquaintance recently picked one up at an auction and asked me about it.I told I didn't know a thing about it but knew who would.

Hey Jim, I really have no helpful advice, but I think I know someone who does. This guy has TONS of experience with vintage detectors, and owns a crazy amount. He has a Bounty Hunter Eliminator for sale with an oval coil...close? Here is the link if you want to contact him:
