Now since i've gathered my composure, think i'll scroll back up and check out the beach finds...Bran made me forget what i came in here for....

Kelly....I'm sure you turned more than a few heads yourself... You guys ever detect Anna Maire Island beaches? I just got back form down there and tis gorgeous and looks like a great spot to detect...I didn't have my detector with me....

and i have never detected anna maire island.. bran might have.
where we went was really far from my house... i think it took me like 1:30 mins to get home... maybe more?

Well I see Bran is from St. Pete...I know it is somewhere near Bradenton...but not sure how far from it? My parents live in Palemetto and I was down there the first of the month....LOTS of awesome beaches down there and the area looks like a beach detector's heaven, and unlike here in Maine, the temps down there and water temps are actually enjoyable for those early morning hunts. My kids had a blast riding the waves etc and they were ecstatic that the water didn;t turn them blue from being so cold... So I envy you guys, except for when you are dealing with all those hurricanes that come rolling in during the season...

hurricanes do suck.. but so does snow and ice...

Kelly...yeah snow and ice do suck big time....if I had half a brain I;d stay here in the summer while all the hurricnaes blow thru down there and then when the snow and ice hit here I'd beat feet there and escape winter here. However I think the brain cells I killed in my partying days were the ones that would have made me smart enough to do that....
