✅ SOLVED Brass fragment with floral design

Happy New Year everyone.

I located a thin brass fragment that is approximately 3 inches long. It is about 1 1/2 inches wide at its narrowest end and the widest end is about 2 inches wide. You may be able to see a small tack in the center at the narrow end and a notch on the right side 3/4 inch from the bottom where another tack or something was located. The piece is stamped with a floral design. A couple of images showing the piece are attached. There is also a closeup and a rubbing I made to try to show the design more clearly. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this might be from?

The piece you have there is from the top portion, of one side of a stamped copper gun powder flask, dating around the middle of the 19th Century. The top pin was where the flask top and collar was attached. The side notch is where the suspension ring was attached.

A complete and comparable flask, showing a similar style design is shown below.
