Brass Lion Pendant

Hello out there. I found this piece a few days ago at an old home site that was probably originally active in the 19-teens.

It is brass, 1-3/16 inches in diameter, made in two pieces (like a 2-pc button), and the eyes are glass beads. It looks pretty well made but has no engraving at all on it.

Any idea on the vintage and maker of this item?
