brass makeup compact

Yesterday I dug this brass makeup compact. Still has the makeup in it looks awfull. The mirror still reflects. Any other info on this is appreciated. Has james imprinted on the side. Thanks for looking

I have found a couple of these too. Very exciting because they rattle, and am thinking they are full of coins. Then you open them and there is some very old and gross makeup. But the cases are cool.

Looks like a M.M R's Patent 1924 Powder Makeup Compact. It has the style of the area and design base. Missing the top decorations but still a very nice find.
