brass or copper spoon handle

Hit it with my shovel but to be fair I thought it was another penny. it’s decent weight too it compared to anything today. Either brass or copper I tried to stick it to magent make sure it wasn’t plated won’t stick. Was told it might be a door handle which make sense for the two grooves on there.

I beleive this is a stirrup I found one complete but broken today and while looking that up I cAme across some that looked like stuff I had found one I know but I think this may be also what are your thoughts?
