🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Brass or possibly copper Ring , 6.5 inch diameter

Found this earlier this spring where a farm had been near a former train depot.
There is rusted sheet metal sandwiched in the center. Inner diameter of the brass ring is 4.5 inches.

With those spline openings it looks like part of tractor PTO shaft assembly.
