brass tools = spark free * if working around flammible / explosive items or say around a oil /gas well head area where explosive gases might be being "spark free" is a real good thing. :wink:

a fast brass/copper cleanup is to get a stainless pan of vinegar (just enough to cover tool) hot on the stove, mix in some salt and drop em in...very fast and no damage...then steel wool to buff.
