Others I agree. We call that lure here a Wonder Wobbler. I still have a couple. They were more popular back in the 60s to 80s than now.
On retrieve, the curved side faces down and the lure wobbles from side to side with the end tail part imparting the most movement. Were very popular trout lures here when I was a kid. Often a little bit of red wool was tied to the split ring where the treble hook was or they came with a red plastic tag there.
