brass thingy

what is it and what is it worth? has dragon details on ends that curve forward, staff looks hand done with designs and it has 3 turquoise stones inlaid.

it is about 6 inches long, looks as if belongs to something perhaps a connecting device of sorts, back has nothing more than the marks from which it was hammered( when made) there is no insignia no "made in" marks of any kind.

Welcome to TN tootie. Even though there are no makers marks, we still need a good clear pic of the back to make a proper ID. Do you have a digital camera? It looks like you used a scanner.

I will guess that it is Chinese and that it is a rest for chopsticks, or similar item/s - possibly a knife
for example
