I found these in the same place as all those civil war relics. They appear to be some sort of brass. Two of them have the same threads on them. I can screw on into the other. Not sure if they go together or not as I found them on seperate days. I realized that they may go together after finding them in my widgets jar today. I screwed two of them together to give you an idea of what they would look like attached. Any ideas? Lamp parts?

Thanks for all the ideas. It looks like either a lamp part of telescope part. Could be a telescope that was lost and the parts scattered around the area. They used telescopes during the Civil War so maybe that's it.
