I don't know what I have, it is brass or bronze. Found on a colonial site. looks to be broken off something. Maybe some of you guys can recognize it

I'm thinking this is a piece of a brass handle for an old candle holder now...have one exactly like it in my thinking room..(Bathroom) :laughing7:
