Dug this button yesterday (in NY). Couldn't find anything in TNet archives. So I'll put it out there. Any info is appreciated. Thanks Rick.

I can't see any backmark on your button so it will be hard to precisely date it. The 'Military Train' is just one of several units that after a long and complicated history eventually became the Army Service Corps in 1888. My best guess would be 1840s-1888.
