I found these out today in a old field. A British musketball and I believe it's a old coin I can't tell what it is. It looks really old but still I have no idea what it is.

if that's a coin, it's about the toastiest one I've ever seen posted

it could be a token

Flattened piece of lead with maybe a design pressed in it was my thought

I wonder if maybe Crusader might have some input on this.........almost looks like a horse in the design?

Iowa Dale

I can see a design but it looks too raised to be a coin.

Nice round ball. At first I was thinking a lead seal, but it looks copper so thats out. Like Don said, carefully clean it. Then get some dimensions and add'l pic angles.

DANG THE EAGLE HAS LANDED SOME NEEET FINDS .

Way out there suggestion but kinda reminds me of a Byzantine design ?

I found it in Newport RI. Same place I found a 1664 spanish cob. It's very rare to find anything other than stuff from the 1700's from this site I'm at.

In pic #2 in the op, I'm seeing a horse with a woman riding it. I asked my wife what she saw and she came up with the same thing instantly.

In the new pic, the horse is facing towards the top of the page.

Maybe I just have an active imagination.

I think it's from a medal, similar to this Admiral Vernon. (Ships side)

I think you right about the medallion, the 5 ship scene comes in lots of different metals & types.
