Well I’m pretty bummed to say the least. After not being able to hunt for over 3 years due to spinal surgeries I got a brand new AT MAX to use, and had it a week today when I went out today and broke the cuff. I was putting my arm in the cuff with my jacket on and the cuff split down the middle where the bolt goes into the plastic on the bottom of the cuff. Detector luckily caught my overalls loop and didn’t hit the ground. I registered my Garrett when I got home, and then sent them an email about it with pics. I’m still shocked it broke. I’ve owned every detector known to man as far as brands and I’ve never once had one that was so easy to break. I can’t believe one screw holds that thing on and it’s molded to fit the nut that goes into it on the bottom. I’m hoping they send me s new one considering I just bought it. I go to Florida in June so I’ll be needing it, plus they’re restoring a late 1800’s ghost town near me that I have exclusive permission to hunt. Here’s to wishing they will send me a new one🤞🏽
