The arm cuff on my AT GOLD broke last week. I searched the net for a replacement and High Plains Prospectors had a replacement one that is way stronger than the original Garrett cuff and a bit cheaper. It came today, 3 days shipped and it is a way better part. It has thick ridges on the sides where the original broke. I am pleased with the part and fast service.

How the H-ll did you break the arm cuff ??

I was swinging and it snapped. It was 20 degrees out, the cold may have contributed.

duct tape is like $4 a roll

I had my Ace 250 about 2 years and the cuff broke. I got a new one from Garrett, and it also broke a while later. So I had a piece of scrap 4" diameter plastic pvc, cut a 3" long piece and then cut that in half. Bolted it on and wrapped it with cloth. I know it will never break.
