Broken point?

Found at a site I've been detecting , it was with some shallow rocks near large oak. It looks like it could be . I'm in NC if that helps. It looks as if it is a point it was a rather long one?

Tough looking material.

NC doesn’t have much good flint. Lots of quartz points and rhyolite. Both difficult to work.

Looks good initially could you throw a light on it at a low angle?
