Even more broken points from VA

And my bad luck streak continues. The good thing is I've found multible new sites. The bad news is all the points found today were broken again, and the heat index was terrible.

I am really disappointed that today wasnt more successful, especially with the shamer I'll show you guys. But its not all bad, I still have that entire place to comb through so I will return there at a certain point (no pun intended).

Yeah that one in the middle saddens me. I'm happy I at least knew immediately it was broken so I wouldn't be further disappointed. I am looking forward to finding more native history in the DMV, and now have shifted focus to finding the first Clovis point in DC. I think with time and effort, it is certainly possible.

I know there are exceptions to the rules in some cases, albeit I don't know what the exceptions are. I bring this up as New Mexico has filed several cases over the years for collecting them. Curious how others feel about this?

I ensure that all my collecting is done legally and not on federal lands or state lands. I target private property and construction areas as well. Most people around here are receptive to history and allow me to collect on their property.

You can hunt them with an excavator on private lands by permission. Good thing is most lands are owned by citizens. Personally I think any surface find should be allowed anywhere as long as you do not dig but such is not always the case. You can go on youtube and see people hunting on Federal land with sifters. They have their own monetized channels. So imagine some areas are stricter than others.
