Bronze Ring!!Other Rings From Before!

Found this last week and have found a few of these through the years...Never knew what they were..I thought they had something to do with the hair...No Okinawans that I could find knew what they were. Talk to a guy who has detected over the years here too. He says It went to a tobacco pouch from over 100 years ago.. Like on the flap to keep it lapped over and not curl...If anyone knows of a picture of such a pouch, please let me know where I can find the picture! The inner hole is the size of a silver dollar.. Thanks...

Never seen one like that! Very nice. Should clean up good. I'm looking but see no tobac poches it would work on. Dont have much on orential items like that......Unique find.

Here are a few more of the rings that I have found over the years..The guy I talked to on the phone said he saw it in a museum as part of a tobacco pouch.. I guess I will have to try the museum to get a look..I just don't think they will let me take a picture.. You know how they are!! Anyway, thanks for all the help and comments... Just wanted to let you see what they look like..Never know when you may come across one and you can say that is what that crazy guy in Japan had!!

You what I think they really are...just guessing...but could they be rings off of Samurai chain maille? From their armor?

WOW... That would be nice gypsy! I have found two parts of a sword.."I will Post at a other time" but I think these are too easy to find to be that...That would be nice if it was! Not many battles down here..a few,but lost to history!
