Well, Rick got out here from California last night and we got out for the first day of our Fall Hunt. We headed back on the old Hinman Settlers Road from 1791 to several cellar holes that were way back in the woods. We took a four wheeler and a six wheeler to go the two to three miles. There were moose and bear tracks all over the place. They had really been active. These are old cellar holes and they did not use many coins back then, things were mostly trade. It showed by the fact that we did not dig one coin, new or old all day. I did find a really nice Seth North Petal Bell, (Initials N.S. on it). We also found a few horse bridal rossetes, some buckels, a cloak weight and an old button. We did have a fantastic time. Will post more tomorrow, Thanks for looking....Lance and Rick
