I'm RED: Retired—Extremely Docile—in Upstate NY. Metal Detecting was the next item on my "Bucket List", so after a few months of "research" (and putting my Missus through more MD vids than anyone should have to endure), I decided on a Deus 2. 😁

Just got everything updated & paired, so I think I'm ready to go... 🤨

No idea yet if the Missus will have any interest; we like to do most things together (or at least watch over each others' shoulders). Hoping to involve one or both of our service dogs as well--they LOVE to help. Any MD 🐕s out there? 🤨

Welcome from IL!! My wife watched at first but now never. If I would have found a neat piece of jewelry at first she might have got hooked. No way now. It’s a solitary sport for me. My dog loves to dig and is like a badger! She also has incredible nose. Smart as a whip and highly trainable. Only interested in critters though. Gets moles, voles, mice and rabbits. If silver and gold had a scent I’d have it made. You might add your location on your bio so close by people can contact you. Also, we like lots of pics!
