Buckeye new to site

I'm new to this site; I live in north central Ohio (southern Richland County) but am now in Jacksonville NC visiting my daughter and grandkids and will be going on to Charleston SC next week; I don't detect as much as I woulld like to but have my old faithful Garrett Master Hunter 7 with me; Looking for suggestions or advice on huning in the Carolinas

I've heard that charleston has alot of history,try talking to locals when you get there.Good luck hunting.

I suppose it just depends on what your looking for. I would seek out places of gathering like around old churches , parks , places where a state fair would be or old school yards even under the bleachers. Under bleachers in any school yard will produce instant clad or maybe silver depending on how old the school is or if it has already been hit hard. You may go to your historical society and see if you locate the origin of old hotels or old homes.
