I dug this brass buckle up in the front yard of an 1833 house yesterday. Any idea what type of buckle this would have been? (person? horse tack?)

I can't decide on this one, first thoughts horse tack but could easily be a persons belt buckle :icon_scratch: Hard to pin down a period.
