Buckle with gold gilt, near Revolutionary War campsite

I believe this is 19th century, but am reaching out to you. Any ideas? Found near edge of a farm field, 300 feet away from Revolutionary War campsite. Still has so gold gilt (gold plate) on it. Copper buckle. Thanks and CHEERS
