Thanks dwayne...I see some in the pic you provided that do look similiar..Its got some age to it then?
As you can tell...I have no clue about buckles...

Not really... it is from a shoe buckle, so 18th century to about 1810. Cool find :icon_thumright:

I dont know buckles either but the chape is a spot on match with #10 (roman numeral X)
