it's type and approx date?

Hi Herbie, these two links were the nearest I could find. 1720-1770's shoe buckle, although it might be earlier.

On the closer side of the 1720 end I'd say.

And that's how I normally find them. That middle pin part was there weak point for sure.As you can see from these I found.
