Bulldog-sewer tile?

I have this bulldog that appears to be handmade,it has no seam,it is solid and weights about 1.25 pounds.It is not plaster,but appears to be sewer tile(just my take,I have no experience with sewer tile)I just want to post it to see if there are any other opinions.

I collect redwing....Redwing made a stoneware bulldog in the 1880's that is almost like yours ...is there any marking at all on yours....

I can't find any marking on it.

To me it look's to be BENNINGTON WARE,MOTTLED BROWNWARE...I have a peice(sorry no pic!)of "SEWER TILE"& it is gray in color like most sewer tile(i've seen),although it still could be sewer tile because some was "GLAZED"...also i'm NO expert by any mean's just a collector of many thing's.hope this helped some! i will continue to look through my book's for pos.I.D.,it's a VERY COOL peice!
