Bullet?

[Frank215]

Found these possible bullets on an 1800s farm. Can anybody identify? Made of lead and turned white. The flat one has three rings on bottom and the small one looks like it had impact on something

[gunsil]

They are fired bullets for sure. Without dimensions it would be hard to say exactly what you have but the smaller one could be a .22 slug that has flattened from impact. Millions of old bullets in the ground all over this country.

The round one measures about 3/8 to 1/2 round. The flat one measures 5/8 wide 1 1/2 long flattened

[NOLA_Ken]

bottom one is a lead cap from a roofing nail, the other I'm not sure, but it's not a bullet

Hey Nola, thanks for the info. I have about five of these and had no idea what they were.
