Bullion coin weight

I think this is a bullion coin weight from 1600s 1700s. Does anybody know anything about them that isn't readily found online? It was found in the same spot where there were various other buttons, a small thimble, a cloth bale seal and a random musket ball. There were other pieces of lead found here, too.

Your right, it is a 5-Penny Weight for Bullion from the mid 1700s. (with the Lion, so from Britain)

Those thin brass/copper ones are different from these thicker bronze types.
