Hello all,

I am new to posting here but have been lurking for awhile. I just started coin roll hunting about a month or two ago. I will share all my box breaks with you guys, I'll just update this thread with the results. I am having my must luck with dimes searching cwrs (not clear wrappers). My first box ever was halves and I got 7 silvers but have not gotten a silver since from halves. I thought it was going to be like that every time!

Congrats on your dime finds, I had almost the same experience with halves. I haven't found much since but I just started dimes so I hope that'll be good.

Very nice box 3! You never know with halves, you can get all skunks one week and good boxes the next.

Hey thanks for the warm welcome. I am in Illinois (hope not to tread on other hunters here). I do pretty small numbers, like I said it's taken me over a month for what I have so far. It is so hard for me to get halves, I was getting them from Chase for awhile but then all Chase's in my area either wanted to charge $5 per box or not willing to order at all.

The letters in the parantheses define what location I bought the boxes at so i'll be able to track if one bank/branch is more productive than others. I figure it's fairly useful info, should let me know if someone starts dropping where I pickup at the least.

I picked up another box yesterday before work, 2 more silver dimes 1 1946 Rosey and a 1945 merc.

Was the japanese coin a 1 yen?

Added a few new boxes...not sure on the japanese coin it almost looks like a penny and says 10 on it...it may be some other asian coin.

It is a 10 won from South Korea. I forgot they reduced the size of all their coins to cut costs.
