Ok button Peeps
I ran across this buttons in a button box and wonder if you can give me a little info...
Two piece? brass coat button
Back mark is B. PASQUALE CO. / S.FRAN.,CAL.
The front has intertwined letters PO or OP with a wreath around and lined background.
I think you can see all of this in my pictures but just incase...

Info on your OP/PO button's backmark:
According the McGuinn-&-Bazelon book on dating buttons by their backmark, the firm of "B. Pasqual Co" in San Francisco California sold military goods from the late-1800s into the early-1900s... and is still in business today.

About the OP or PO on your button:
Because the US Post Office already had its own button emblem at the time yours was made, it's almost certainly not a Post Office button.
Most often, when a metal button's front shows a letter P inside a wreath, it is a Police button.
So, the "O" on your button is most likely the initial of a city in California, such as Oakland.
