Got out for a full day of digging today. Got a button within a minute of the hunt then decided to try and find another hot spot, but nothing panned out. Went back to the hard worked areas and managed to pull out 24 buttons, a toasted colonial copper, part to a shoe buckle and an awesome Tennessee button!!! Some debate on the age and I am no expert so I haven't a clue. My button count as of now is at 189. Thanks for looking and hh!

Yeah you may be on one of those sites like Bill Ladd found with Howard. It was a clothing recycling area in the woods. Great finds.

Buttons are scattered about. Weren't they digging in a burn pit or something? I remember that video.

I can't remember if it was a burn pit or not. I do know they mentioned something about it being a clothing recycle place or repurposing used articles of clothing.

Matt, great finds again must be fun finding all those different buttons too! I found one really nice colonial button today, I've had a couple days of finding a few but not like your numbers, cool!

We may never have another site like this. We're taking full advantage. Thanks for looking!

Wow Matt - I can't believe that site continues to produce like that. Are you hitting new areas or still picking them out of the old spot? That TN button is a great find that is rarely seen. Keep up the good work!

Still picking them out of the old spots. There are 2 heavily concentrated areas that produce a lot every time we go back. With the grass much shorter now, more and more will be discovered I think.

What makes this site great is it's not huge. 30 acres is all. Saves you from walking a lot.

Nice bunch of buttons.

great finds there...definitely some age range for that button....

I must agree..
No matter the age , Still a nice button to find & in good shape IMO.

Davers

Thanks. I still can't find any similar online. Wish I could!
