Button I D help needed. US button and pewter button ?

Weather has been great was out 2 times today

No coins but 14 old buttons 6 flat some common some I've never seen
The pewter one and the US I have no idea

Looks like it was from a cufflink with something similar to an anchor symbol if you rotate it about 100 degrees to the right.

The item with "US" on it is a cover for the key hole on an old pad lock.

You didn't provide a photo of the back of the "pewter button" so I can't say for sure, but from the front view it doesn't look like a pewter button. First, it is octagonal. Second, I seem to see a large letter C with a smaller letter O inside the C. I think that's part of a company logo... perhaps Colgate & Co. In the late-1800s that company made toothpaste tubes which had a "pewterlike" octagonal cap with the "C&Co." logo on the cap's flat top.
