New Excalibur II, DFX w 12" Super and stock coil, XLT with stock coil, 14" & 6" coils
Found this button in the area of our cavalry camp last week.
The front has an 8-pointed star, surrounded by a circle, then 18(I think) small stars.
There is no shank left on the back and it is BLANK - no markings.

Any ideas????

WOW!!!My Dad dug a button Sat.that looks an awful lot like yours.......nothing on the back,and it was from a strictly 1850 site!
