🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Button ID needed

Whites 6000-D, Garrett GTA-1000, Minelab Sovereign, XP Deus I, Equinox 800, XP Deus II
Google lens can't find this button. It is a one piece slightly larger than a quarter. There is a good bit of corrosion on it, as you can see, so I can't get anything off the back. The shank is mashed down flat with corrosion all around it, so I can't tell much about it. It rings up 91 on the Deus II, so it should be good metal.

15th Cavalry, G Troop/Company/Squadron (Depending on the time period). 15th was active from 1901-1921, then from 1942 - Present, formed at the Presidio, California.

With the cross hatching on disc, it appears to be a collar brass disc to me. Here's two examples of WWI style Cavalry collar brass discs to show what I'm talking about.
