Button ID

I found a button in a old farm field. I have found bigger buttons here before. This one is about the size of a dime the front is pretty worn(not sure if it said anything) the back has a little post (not sure what its called) than around the outside edge it says "superfine london colour"

Does anyone know anything about these buttons or has anyone else found any like this.

Looks like a plain flat button with shank from early 1800s.
