Dug this in a yard it has stars around the edge i didnt get in the picture any help would be great

It is listed in Albert as SV 19A. Sons of Veterans (CW veterans organization), staff. 1881.

It is a Sons of Veterans button, the Sons of Veterans were established in 1881 later changed their name to Sons of Union Veterans.
