Buying Bags??

How do you go about buying a bag from a bank? Do you ask the teller to call when it's full? Stop in frequently to check, or finish filling it yourself? I finally found a bank with the sorting machine, and they said they could sell it to me when It's full, which doesn't happen often. I don't want them to send it back to the feds before I can get it. BTW, it's not my regular bank, so not sure if they would let me finish filling it with my dumps.

I would either give them your name to call you or ask how full it is. Or if it is close enough for you to fill and buy back, then do that. My usually guideline is half full before I fill and buy back but it also depends on how likely I would be to return before it fills up. Less likely to return = more likely to fill and buy back for less.

I would just go ahead and fill it (if they allow non members to dump) and buy it soon. If your bank is like many around here, they probably have a number of tellers. If you give your number to one teller and the bag fills on her day off, bye bye halves. Also, get to know the head teller. Once you get in good with her, it would be easy to leave your information with her. Usually the head teller controls how many boxes and bags go in and out of the bank. After bags become full, it would be easy for her to contact you for pickup.
