I was told once not too long ago by a ranger to never admit knowledge of wrong doing, ie, "I didnt know there was a dredge ban, officer. I sure am sorry if I infringed upon the current law. Wont do it again officer"

Regardless, everyone should print this out and carry a copy with them while prospecting.

I am hopefully going ro print out a bunch of copies and have them at the mining shop for free, so if you want a copy but dont have a printer, come by mountain man mining in colfax and grab one. Remember, no matter what the rangers atritude is, always be polite and courteous
