CA vacation finds

Here are some of the finds TimC and I found in CA and Iowa. We're home now. I'm not much of a picture nut but here are a few. The building is typical of most of the downtown of beautiful Lansing, Iowa. The pile of cash is part of the 2 week take. A pocket knife. Lighter. And commercial net tag from Iowa. I gave up cleaning the wheats at about 25 or 27. The rest I left dirty and threw them in with the clad for the pic. There are a few silver coins including a quarter. Oldest wheat is 1919. We had a great trip. We even panned for gold and found some. (Not much though.) We found more than what he has in the pic. Of all the pics we took I like this one the best.

The thin air of the Sierra Nevada Mts., specifically, Table Mountain sucked the memory of how to get into a hammock out of his brain.

I may be smiling in this pic, but I fell on the crossbar. It hurt like h*ll, but what could I do? Just lie there till the pain subsided enough to get up. TTC

Welcome back! Nice finds. I have not spent too much time on the net as my daughter lives in Houston. Luckely they have no damage. I have spent the last three days glued to TV watching Chanel 11 from Houston which we got on satellite. Did you have good weather driving?
