Beautiful, just love those cactus flowers. Too bad they only last one day, that is on the prickly pear cactus.

Here are a few more ..They just opened a hour ago.When the rain stoped and the sun came out.
Sorry my cam. setting is off.And I don't know how I did it.

I am gonna put this one in spiders too.Oh it's a pumpkin bloom B.T.W.

Yester day I seen something new for me.I took the time to realy look at me Prickly Pear Cactus.It's a micro ecosystem!.The ants were collecting pollen,lots of other insects.Along with spiders to eat them..lolBut what I made a video of is the blooms.Some have a type of beetle inside.I tryed to pluck it out,but when I touched the flowers tendrels(wrong word I know har) closed around the beetle!What I am wondering is this...Are they (the beetles) pollenateing? Or are they food for the plant....Most likely the first one..

and to think, they won't blossom until there is enough water available for the flowers to completely bloom and still survive
