Cool little flake drill, how small is it?Looks like a graver edge on the other side.
 

Nice one Molly.

I have one almost identical from a Ft Ancient site and I figured it was used to drill the small Shell Beads.

I haven't measured it yet, i wanna say its an inch from the end of the bit to the longest length, aint much bigger...

Looks fragile but its not really, can't be though after lasting intact for that long. It is hard to believe some artifacts last that long.. This is one of my favourite Caddoan peices in my collection though. I should ;post everything I have because i also have some tools.

Nice looks like perferator "button hole maker"to me though either way it is nice thanks for the look Molly
