California TN weekend!

I propose a California panning weekend (or week) for all the wonderful folks of Treasure Net to get together. I suck at organizing so someone has to step up. I'll bring the beer. 4 kegs enough? Suggestions please!

Jeff thanks for the pics. The top one I know would not be doable as my guy does not have a machine that will do that , but the happy miner could most likely be done. Is that one from Treasurenet or ....... the 3 responses so far are Black shirt with gold lettering that is possibly trimmed in white and I really like the happy miner..... I am expecting many more replies so we will see.......You been prospecting out lately?

Thanks I will tell him. He will just do it for the price of the shirts anyway because he likes that fact that we are out bustin ass getting gold and he really likes the idea that everyone is coming together for this kind of event. So it looks like your gonna get the same discount as everyone or you can get him a bottle of good vino.....

I am planning on attending the gold show on sat morning and then heading the rest of the way after (I'm coming from Nv. ) to setup camp and get a lay of the land. Prospect sun. When is everyone else planning on going to the show?

Went out to Folsom lake today, stopped at Skunk Hollow on the Salmon Falls road. I thought people interested in the CA TNet weekend might like a taste of some Folsom lake gold (and a thread bump in case it got lost). Found a crevice that had been worked over, but whoever worked it took the easy stuff and missed a big pocket right next door. I only had about an hour of daylight left, but managed to fill one pan and got some decent sized flakes out of it. Can't wait to get back next weekend with my big pry bar and clean it out properly.
