Hi Harry, any idea on who this shard might be from, it says "ITTERS" so I'm assuming Bitters, and the PR seems to be followed by the an E and I'm only coming up with Preston and Preschette.....

Your expertise is welcome for sure...Thanx...Jim

I wish I could help you, Jim. I don't recognize the bitters brand. Maybe someone else has a more extensive list of possibilities.

Thanx for taking a look Harry, much appreciated...Jim

Could be embossing for a PATTERSON NJ bot... ??? The line before the two T's slants away like the leg of an A, not straight up like an I.

Optical illusion because of the angle and the curve of the glass, it's an I gleaner...

Looks like the embossing is adjacent to the seam in the hemispherical region of the shoulder on a cylindrical piece. Odd color and it is strange that nothing pops into mind on this one. Someone out there knows....

Possibly a piece to a "Bitters" bottle, these are very collectible an usually of very high value. They are medicine bottles that got the name bitters because of the bitter flavor as the medicine was made from bitter roots and herbs.
